How Artificial intelligence changing The World

When you think about Artificial Intelligence what first think that comes in your mind. Something like robot,  robot like in terminator movie Right.

But these days Artificial intelligence not work as we think ,these days Artificial intelligence more use in  applications ,Big companies like google ,amazon ,Microsoft all of these companies use Artificial intelligence more and more.

Google's alpha go A.I beats The world champion in ancient game Go. So I think artificially intelligence specific uses that you might not think about that you can use in near future.

Knowledge engineering is a core part of AI research. Machines can often act and react like humans only if they have abundant information relating to the world. Artificial intelligence must have access to objects, categories, properties and relations between all of them to implement knowledge engineering. Initiating common sense, reasoning and problem-solving power in machines is a difficult and tedious approach.
Machine learning is another core part of AI. Learning without any kind of supervision requires an ability to identify patterns in streams of inputs, whereas learning with adequate supervision involves classification and numerical regressions. Classification determines the category an object belongs to and regression deals with obtaining a set of numerical input or output examples, thereby discovering functions enabling the generation of suitable outputs from respective inputs. Mathematical analysis of machine learning algorithms and their performance is a well-defined branch of theoretical computer science often referred to as computational learning theory.
Machine perception deals with the capability to use sensory inputs to deduce the different aspects of the world, while computer vision is the power to analyze visual inputs with a few sub-problems such as facial, object and gesture recognition.
Robotics is also a major field related to AI. Robots require intelligence to handle tasks such as object manipulation and navigation, al

Intro

what is artificial intelligence (A.I) :

Basically artificial intelligence is way for a computer to learn a problem solving based on their past mistakes and create a new way to solve problem where there is no definition given by the human programmer  how to do it. So this is the basic concept behind the Artificial intelligence.

How it works for computers

This is not an easy task to make this happen. And actually the things that humans are really good at and really easy for human that is much difficult for computers. Things like walking in park or walking around that is an easy task for humans to do  ,Because we spend millions of years to learn how to walk and that is now in our DNA. Where as computer obviously no idea and that's why you see robot videos where robots are stumbling around.
But at same time computers are quick learners they learn quickly if you code the A.I. and one of the biggest advantage is if once one computer learns something then that can be copy and past to other computers that's not work for humans unfortunately . if you want acquire new skill then you have to do practice and by that practice you learn new skill and only you get that skill. It's not like hey I like the way you dance I can buy your dancing skill. so it is now in my brain too it dosen't work like that.
Now  we  do a fun example imaging a mobile phone in your mind and probably you imaging a hundreds of different mobile phone in your mind it color, design ,how it looks like form front or from top ,But computers recently started to recognition objects. You might thing why is that ,reason behind it is, it dosen't really know what the mobile phone is it just know what mobile phones is called.

I hope in future computers will learn when you walk in to your house you always come through the door so someone one night comes through the window that's very usual that's not the right way to come home and it will send you a notification that  something is  wrong.

Now a days use of Artificial intelligence:

Now a days A.I is used in the personalization , for fraud detection in bank, in email filtering  and In speech recognition and recently one company use A.I to sort out recycling out of trash.
Here is the another fun example for video games when you playing the Hitman game and all your enemies look at you and they will be able to analyze what you doing and respond to it. so this is example of how Artificial intelligence implemented in video games.
And finally a another use and that's computer troubleshooting we are using computer and we get some error message that we might not know about what error message is all about. And I hope in future the A.I will automatically solve errors for you.

For many seniors, everyday life is a struggle, and many have to hire outside help to manage their care, or rely on family members. AI is at a stage where replacing this need isn’t too far off, says Matthew Taylor, computer scientist at Washington State University. “Home” robots could help seniors with everyday tasks and allow them to stay independent and in their homes for as long as possible, which improves their overall well-being.
Although we don’t know the exact future, it is quite evident that interacting with AI will soon become an everyday activity. These interactions will clearly help our society evolve, particularly in regards to automated transportation, cyborgs, handling dangerous duties, solving climate change, friendships and improving the care of our elders. Beyond these six impacts, there are even more ways that AI technology can influence our future, and this very fact has professionals across multiple industries extremely excited for the ever-burgeoning future of artificial intelligence.

Solving climate change might seem like a tall order from a robot, but as Stuart Russell explains, machines have more access to data than one person ever could—storing a mind-boggling number of statistics. Using big data, AI could one day identify trends and use that information to come up with solutions to the world’s biggest problems.

Risk of A.I.

Most researchers agree that a superintelligent AI is unlikely to exhibit human emotions like love or hate, and that there is no reason to expect AI to become intentionally benevolent or malevolent. Instead, when considering how AI might become a risk, experts think two scenarios most likely:

  1. The AI is programmed to do something devastating: Autonomous weapons are artificial intelligence systems that are programmed to kill. In the hands of the wrong person, these weapons could easily cause mass casualties. Moreover, an AI arms race could inadvertently lead to an AI war that also results in mass casualties. To avoid being thwarted by the enemy, these weapons would be designed to be extremely difficult to simply “turn off,” so humans could plausibly lose control of such a situation. This risk is one that’s present even with narrow AI, but grows as levels of AI intelligence and autonomy increase.
  2. The AI is programmed to do something beneficial, but it develops a destructive method for achieving its goal: This can happen whenever we fail to fully align the AI’s goals with ours, which is strikingly difficult. If you ask an obedient intelligent car to take you to the airport as fast as possible, it might get you there chased by helicopters and covered in vomit, doing not what you wanted but literally what you asked for. If a superintelligent system is tasked with a ambitious geoengineering project, it might wreak havoc with our ecosystem as a side effect, and view human attempts to stop it as a threat to be met.

As these examples illustrate, the concern about advanced AI isn’t malevolence but competence. A super-intelligent AI will be extremely good at accomplishing its goals, and if those goals aren’t aligned with ours, we have a problem. You’re probably not an evil ant-hater who steps on ants out of malice, but if you’re in charge of a hydroelectric green energy project and there’s an anthill in the region to be flooded, too bad for the ants. A key goal of AI safety research is to never place humanity in the position of those ants.
